There are many call recorders in Skype ecosystem. And if you ignore needless features they all will look the same. But G-Recorder is different. Because now your call recordings are combined with chat messages to useful conversations and saved in secure and completely free "cloud" storage – Gmail.
Three simple steps to to record Skype calls:
Once G-Recorder is installed a simple configuration wizard will lead you through a couple of quick steps where you can specify your call recording preferences:

Here you can configure where call recordings should be stored: in Gmail, local PC or in both locations. Default value is just good. But you can specify to record Skype calls only in Gmail because, for example, you don’t want to waste space of your small netbook HDD. And finally you can record your calls only to local drive if you wish.
The second option allows setting of preferred call recording quality. It’s important because maximum duration of recorded call that can be saved on Gmail depends on call recording quality. Gmail allows uploading attachments up to 20MB. So to save long call recordings in Gmail please specify lower call quality. Don’t worry, it will be still acceptable for comfort replaying. And even if call recording is too large for Gmail it will be saved on your PC.
This configuration takes seconds and should be done only once.
Calling somebody or receiving incoming call you should do… just nothing. G-Recorder will do everything automatically in a non-intrusive way. All calls will be saved to specified locations. You can notice this on G-Recorder tray icon:

Right-click on G-Recorder tray icon and go to “Call recordings” menu:

You can replay your call recordings saved on your PC by your preferred audio player. Call recordings saved in Gmail can be replayed just in place, without downloading them:
